Not sure we can help? Just contact us and inquire! We would love to hear from you.
preschool: 2-5 years
The preschool years are jam packed with development in all areas: cognitive, psychosocial, motor, functional skills (such as dressing and eating), sensory processing and self-regulation. As much as it is an important stage in child development, it is also a tricky one! A lot of questions and challenges can arise for caregivers and their children. Whether you are wondering about a specific skill/occupational task such as eating, play, socialization, transitions, pre-school readiness such as drawing and early literacy skills, or you are seeking support in the role of being a caregiver and managing the daily grind (we know about the daily grind!) Whole Therapies is here for you. We offer assessment, intense bursts of therapy, or monthly consultation to meet all your child's and general caregiving needs.
Youth: 6-12 Years
The school years can be an overwhelming and challenging time for children and caregivers alike. Lets work on making these years manageable and better yet, enjoyable! Perhaps your child is struggling with a specific task (coordination in gym class, attention in group settings, picky eating, writing or reading, etc.), or your child gets easily overwhelmed, upset or has trouble calming down? Perhaps you as a caregiver are feeling overwhelmed and are looking for that glorious meal plan or a means to balance work with play and maybe a bit of sleep? Whole Therapies can help! We can work with your child as well as with you to create smart goals and intervention plans that will make these school-aged years a successful phase in life.
adolescent: 13-18 years
By now the social pressures and cognitive demands your child faces are at their peak. Early developmental issues may now be old news or are escalating to a point of chronic concern. With increasing demands for independence, developing executive functioning skills becomes important. This stage also brings questions related to your child's occupational interests and motivation to engage in tasks that create meaning in life. Sometimes even adults don't know what their purpose in life is, so how can we expect our children to! Whole Therapies takes time to consider the whole picture and empower children and their families to live their best life.
